Accessibility
We want this site to work for everyone. Here is what we have done, what still needs work and how to reach us if something blocks you.

Our commitment
Bayou & Bell Media Group wants every visitor to be able to read this website and contact us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, voice control or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not as something added afterwards.
Standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We believe this website substantially conforms to that standard. Conformance has been assessed internally through manual keyboard testing, automated checks and screen-reader spot checks; it has not been audited by an independent third party.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order
- A “skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu, accordions and the cookie banner
- Visible focus indicators that are never removed
- Text and background colour combinations tested to meet or exceed a 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative graphics marked so assistive technology ignores them
- Form fields with persistent visible labels, not placeholder-only labels, and clear error messages
- Full support for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting — all animation, parallax and scrolling effects are disabled when your system requests reduced motion - Responsive layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide and remains usable at 200% zoom
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
- Language of the page declared in the markup for correct screen-reader pronunciation
Known limitations
We are aware of the following and are working on them:
- Some photographs carry descriptive captions that duplicate part of the alternative text; we are refining these.
- Documents supplied to clients (media plans and post-buy reports in PDF form) are not yet fully tagged for accessibility. We will provide any document in an accessible alternative format on request, at no charge.
Accessibility in the work we produce
Where we produce advertising creative for clients, we advise on caption and audio-description requirements for broadcast and digital video, and on contrast and legibility for out-of-home artwork. Accessible creative is generally more legible creative, and it performs better.
